The Violin is Everything

Girl, anything but not the violin, that’s too difficult,« her grand­father always told her, says violinist Veronika Eberle, born in 1988. »And then he brought me his old violin case after all and I was overjoyed.« The fact that the violin was truly her instrument became clear very quickly. Accompanied by the Academy of St Martin in the Fields under Sir Neville Marriner, Veronika Eberle will now also prove in Bonn that the violin is everything to her, just not too difficult! The Beethovenfest Bonn 2010 will close with the lively inter­preta­tion of Beethoven’s Seventh by the 85-year-old Sir Neville Marriner.
