Exceptional Talents

If the classical music scene had superstar talent searches like the ones in the world of pop music, they would certainly have been discovered as hot shots. In the realm of Mozart, Brahms and Schönberg such labels are inappropriate, but the three young musicians giving their debut performance as a piano trio still stand out. The »Basler Zeitung« newspaper called them »exceptional talents«. The Argentinean cellist Sol Gabetta, the Moldovan violinist Patricia Kopachinskaya and the Finnish pianist Henri Sigfridsson are all amongst the elite of the young generation of musicians. They are by no means strangers to Bonn anymore. In 2010 they can be heard together for the first time.
