With a Bang
After the successes at the Beethovenfest 2006 (»Percussive Planet«), 2008 and 2009 Martin Grubinger has developed a new (spatial) concept for one of his concert marathons in collaboration with Beethovenfest: Martin Grubinger and his »striking« ensemble, which is once again composed of highly talented soloists (percussionists and other musicians), will spread out throughout the room to enthuse the audience from percussion bastions with crescendos and diminuendos, overlying rhythms and whirls of sounds. An impressive artwork of hard physical labour, aesthetic beauty and brilliant virtuosity.
