This Year is the sixth time the Beethovenfest Bonn has held a short-film competition as part of the project "Look at Beethoven". The initiative’s starting point was to inspire a new visual confrontation with the classical music of the past and present; filmmakers, directors and film and music students were all invited to contribute.
The five prize-winning short films and a selection from the numerous entries of the up to eight-minute long films has been shown at the premiere of "Look at Beethoven" on 13 Sept in the auditorium of the Kunstmuseum and has been shown throughout the festival in the rotunda of the same building.
