Organized by school students in the context of the »Student manager« project of the Young Beethovenfest.
»BA ROCK«
Daniel Hope was immediately enthusiastic about continuing the student management project started in 2009 at the Young Beethovenfest this year. His concert on 18 September will be organised by 11 students from six secondary schools in Bonn. The student managers were supposed to find an artist from the pop/rock scene within eight months and have them perform with Daniel Hope under the “BA Rock” motto (“Barock” being the German word for “baroque”). The young managers also negotiate budgets, acquire sponsors and book agencies and technology companies as well as design fliers and their own website www.schuelermanager-beethovenfest.de. The students managed to get newcomer group Bakkushan on board at the start of May as the rock band for the concert.
