Birthday Concert

This campus concert is a birthday concert! The musicians can serenade themselves because on the very day of this performance in Bonn, 20 September, the Anton Rubinstein Orchestra of the Saint Petersburg Conservatoire is 146 years old. Its founding by its eponym and first director, the pianist, conductor and composer Anton Rubinstein, coincided with that of the conservatoire, the oldest in Russia, whose significance
is as strong as ever. Look forward to one of the best campus orchestras of recent years!
