Nikita Borisoglebsky
One of the most popular Russian violinists of young generation Nikita Borisoglebsky was born in Volgodonsk (in the south of Russia) in 1985. Nowadays he graduates his postgraduate course in the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow where he had studied under the guidance of Professor Eduard Grach and Tatiana Berkul.
He has played with such collectives as Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra, State Symphony Orchestra of Russia, NDR Symphony Orchestra (Hannover), The Amadeus Chamber Orchestra (Poland), Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Lithuanian State Orchestra, St. Petersburg Capella Orchestra, National Orchestra of Ukraine, Azerbaijanian State Orchestra and others. With conductors Valery Gergiev, Yuri Bashmet, Olari Elts, Agnieszka Duczmal, Yoel Levi, Christoph Poppen, Eduard Grach, Alexander Sladkovsky and others.
He has won a number of competitions including Yampolskiy International Violin Competition, Penza, Russia (2002), International Violin Competition in Kloster-Shontal, Germany (2003), Joachim International Violin Competition, Hannover, Germany (2006), Oistrakh International Violin Competition, Moscow (2007). In 2007 he became a silver medalist of XIII Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow and also won 5 special prizes.
Nikita permanently takes part in famous international festivals such a “December’s nights” of S.Richter (Moscow), “Stars of the White nights” and “The square of Arts” (S.-Petersburg), O.Kagan’s music festival in Germany, Dubrovnik summer festival, “Violino il Magico” in Italy.
Nikita Borisoglebsky plays on Matthias Albani violin (the middle of XVIII century).
