Artists biographies
Ensemble Tetete

Tetete provide entertainment for a young audience, away from the mainstream, but of high quality. The ensemble comprises a group of artists from a variety of backgrounds who have been working on joint projects for several years, for an adult audience as well as the younger generation.

A characteristic of all Tetete productions is the combination of speech and story, contemporary music and interactive animation, with special attention to the communication between the art forms.

The ensemble members are musicians, illustrators, animators: Jo Ambros, Josef Dorninger, Markus Dorninger, Matthias Fritz, Mathias Koch, Ritsche Koch, Christian Reiner, Philip Zoubek, Anne Mück, Gerald Pfaffl, Frieder Schlaich, Paul Wenninger, Karl Wozek and many more.

The ensemble has already presented many successful productions: Theresa’s Dream (2006), Gregor’s Garden (2007) and Antonioni Antonini (2007). Their latest show is the „Bee-cinema“, which won the 2009 “Junge Ohren Preis” in the Music and Media category.

When they come on stage, the ensemble know the ending of the bee cinema as little as the young audience. They only know the means: music, narration, illustration and animation. Story lines and characters are sometimes made up on the spot, or are taken from the rich treasure trove of characters in the Tetete universe. This gives rise to a new feast of emotions and a convincing gesamtkunstwerk every time.

Since 2009 Tetete has been technically and organisationally supported by the arts production company OMA International GmbH.
